Commander AWOL gets stiffed and shunned by world leaders
Edited on Thu Nov-20-08 02:17 PM by SpiralHawk
Sure looks that way - vid from Huffington Post

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/11/20/world-leaders-dont-shake_n_145141.html

It appears in this video that President Bush's approval is in a sorrier state than polls indicate. In a video taken at the G20 summit, Bush walks across a line of world leaders without shaking or being asked to shake any of their hands.

"Whether the President is being rejected by the world leaders or he is rejecting them, CNN's Rick Sanchez aptly says that Bush looks like "the most unpopular kid in high school that nobody liked."

Just amazing - how low Commander AWOL has (deservedly) sunk -- too bad he and his republicon cronies have taken America down with them

6. I think he got stiffed
They had to pretend to like/respect him in the 8 years that he was the most powerful guy on the planet, but with him on the way out, unless he's planning on nuking them, there's probably little he can do to them that would last that long before Obama overturned it so they're free to treat him like the jerk he is.

Also, I think it not only shows what the leaders think of him, but that they're right (which of course, we know they are). He's not initiating any handshaking either, and I think it's because he still thinks of himself as an alpha dog, and people need to come to him/initiate the handshake as a sign of respect/pack submission.

7. I think they actually made the cootie spray hand gesture
behind his back when he wasn't looking.

Poor W, too worthless to live, not yet old enough to die.

18. Protocol?
Other folks are shaking hands, looking at one another, smiling. Bush just has his head down, looking for his mark before turning and posing for the group photo. And nobody seems too interested in catching his attention.
