With Dems in power, what will the Stephanie Miller Show do?
I so fondly remember how her show helped me and other liberals through our darkest days following the 04 election. I laughed myself silly listening to Jim do a drunken Tom DeLay, Bush on his bicycle, Clinton getting hit with a frying pan by Hillary, and whoever the guy is called Squeezy McFeelpants.

Lately her show hasn't had the same zing as before but maybe it's time for Jim, Chris and even Steph herself to move on or move into a new sphere. I'm just not laughing the way I used to...

2. More material when Repukes are running the show
Now she can concentrate on how irrelevent republicans are.

3. I love her show and the "Mooks" and 'think she is doing a great job. I look
forward every morning to tuning in as soon as I get up.

Of course none of the political talk shows (right and left) are going to be as engrossing as before the election but Stephanie's show is still so funny with them reviewing the news, taking calls, having guests, etc.

I hope they never go off the air!

4. You could say the same about most any lefty talk show.
Or about websites like http://allhatnocattle.net/
I couldn't listen to talk radio at work but I was reading every update of this site. People in neighboring cubicles got accustomed to me bursting out in laughter for no apparent reason.

5. The point of her show, in your eyes,
was to help you through the dark times. Now that they are supposedly gone, go be merry. Listen to music instead? I dont know what to tell you if the only reason you were listening to the show was to hear in which new ways our government has fucked up. There will always be crazy, off-the-wall GOP talking points discussed in public forums on Fox and other mediums, so there will always be material for the show (in my opinion) but if you disagree you could go listen to Rush?

7. Lordy, I hope you were just kidding about me going to listen to Rush.
My blood pressure couldn't take it!

But you have a point. Steph & CO. had so much comic material because the pukes were in charge. Now a lot are gone, like Delay, soon Bush, and so many others (like Santorum). I still think those were the most creative days of the show. Not that I don't like it, I do and I listen when I can. I used to listen more because I could get the station on my house radio but I can't now for some odd reason, just in the car.

I admit its been a little less meaningful in the past few days but Stephanie does still have her hilarious moments. Mainly when poking fun at BillO

6. Unlike the right
I imagine left radio will have no problem complaining about Obama's administration. It's not like the DU suddenly fell out of existence. Also it's not like republicans will stop doing stupid funny things the next 4 years.

8. I dunno. I can't see Steph doing the kind of humor she did on the pubs on Obama.
Too much love there. Also Obama is himself funny, like with his "a mutt like me" remark.

Well, there's still Joe Lieberman to kick around. And John Boehner (because of her, I'll always call him Boner). And Bill O'Reilly.

Maybe there's hope...

11. Fart jokes are bipartisan.
Do the same CCYY (chuckle chuckle yuck yuck) wacky morning radio show. She's good at it.
