My Dad's 401k down 100,000 to less than 50,000. I have no money invested, but it still makes me ill, to watch them loose what they thought would be their, thankfully I have never made enough to invest.

before the end of the year.
Can I be the eternal optimist and predict that we'll see a recovery now to stay above 9000 before the end the of the year? Or does that make me the eternal dummie?

Assholes.
Not hearing much from the professional touts anymore. Banks got the dough, Treasury declares derivatives all smoke and mirrors with no actual value of any kind so they won't buy them, banks eliminate competition with our money.
Everyone rushing to become a bank just to line up for the looting.
And, oh yeah, fuck you John Q. Taxpayer, while we sit on those funds instead of lending them out like we said we would.
We got ours and we're gonna keep it, suckers. Thanks for the dough.
Let everyone else fail on their own.
I wish I had business ties to Paulson. Bet I could get a good deal on a gently used private jet.
