Job growth under W - 3%.
Under LBJ - 21%.
Under Clinton - 20%
Under Poppy Bush - 2%

Why is it that Republicans think they have a better record of creating jobs than the Democrats?

Look at the comparisions between the deficits too.

Why would this nation ever hire another Republican given their record?

1. It's that high?
I'm surprised, I thought it would a negative number. But hey, there's about two months left, give it time! :(

5. Well, you have to consider population growth.
And given the fact that * has been president for 8 years, and the presidents with comparable job creation records only served 4 years, W's record is utterly disastrous.

8. Yup.
I would be interested in seeing a formula for these figures that factored in population growth.

14. break even with job growth is 150K new jobs per month
juniors administration rarely made that - they were so busy patting themselves on the back for their 7000 new jobs per month.

sean insanity wets his pants hourly on the great job record of these felons.

11. Dashes.
Still, there is no reason to alert this thread.

It shows how dismal W's record actually is. All presidents are expected to preside under job growth given population increase, but it tells you how terrible W's economic record is when he was president for 8 years and his job growth % was so terrible.

12. They know they have no record on creating jobs. They just say they do
so they can give the wealthy tax breaks.

15. make up a lie and keep repeating it. Technique of Hitler and Goebbels known as the Big Lie.

After a while people will start accepting it as true. Of course, it's important that M$M participate in this sort of deception.
