GOP Operative: I regret helping Bush win
EXCERPT/more:

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/11/20/gop-operative-i-regret-he_n_145289.html

The capstone of Stone's career, at least in terms of results, was the "Brooks Brothers riot" of the 2000 election recount. This was when a Stone-led squad of pro-Bush protestors stormed the Miami-Dade County election board, stopping the recount and advancing then-Governor George W. Bush one step closer to the White House. Though he is quick to rebut GOP operatives who seek to minimize his role in the recount, Stone lately has been having second thoughts about what happened in Florida.

"There have been many times I've regretted it," Stone told me over pizza at Grand Central Station. "When I look at those double-page New York Times spreads of all the individual pictures of people who have been killed , I got to think, 'Maybe there wouldn't have been a war if I hadn't gone to Miami-Dade. Maybe there hadn't have been, in my view, an unjustified war if Bush hadn't become president.' It's very disturbing to me."

1. Bush never WON a Presidential Election
2000 was a Judicial Coup and 2004 was stolen

3. Roger Stone is a scum sucking GOP whore. I detest him.
And, this is from meeting him back in the 80s. A slimier person you would be hard pressed to find.

9. Oh, I'm sure it's very disturbing to Mr. Stone
But not so disturbing that he would enlist and take someone else's place in Iraq or Afghanistan. How will you atone for your sins, Mr. Stone? What is a fitting penance, assuming you are truly sorry?

10. Uh-huh. Sure.
In my experience, there is no cure for Self-Serving Asshole disease. They may claim regret at a later date, but you can be pretty sure it's just an asshole offering more self-serving bullshit.

I think he's the one I remember that was trying to provoke a fight with one of the guards. His body language was saying "hit me, c'mon, hit me, I dare ya."

edit:wrong, I was thinking of Roger Morse.

12. Tough shit, too little and too late
This prick should see the inside of a cell for helping to install an illegal regime for eight years. He was instrumental in putting this country through a hell from which it will be extremely difficult to escape.

I'm glad he's developed some sort of conscience even if I don't really think it's there. He still needs to pay for his crime.

Yes, I consider them to be archenemies of the Republic. They are treasonous bastards and I hope that they rot in hell along with Jeb Bush and that bitch Harris.
