Cheney and other indicted officials ordered to appear in court

WILLACY COUNTY - Vice President Dick Cheney and all other officials indicted by a Willacy County grand jury have been ordered to appear in court by the end of the week.

A visiting judge from Corpus Christi presided over today's hearing after Judge Migdalia Lopez removed herself from the case because she was also indicted.

The judge says he expects everyone to appear in court by Friday unless they petition for the right to waive arraignment, but that has to be done in writing.

District Attorney Juan Guerra must present himself in court Friday as well. He was not in court today, which the judge called a rarity.

5. Why the hell not

The vice president is actually pretty superficial to the running of the government, he takes over in emergency if the president is unable to fulfill his duties, he has a vote in the senate in case of a tie, he can be in a cell and be able to vote ok by phone, they can go get him out if something happens to *, they won't have any trouble finding him in his cell for sure.. that is really the extent of the need for a vice president so try him he hasn't got anything else to do right now anyway...
