I call it "blue-booking." It's what people do when they have no idea what they're talking about or how to answer a question, so they just fill their reply with as many words as possible without really saying anything. It's the equivalent of having not studied for an essay exam and then getting a question you don't know the answer to, and the only solution you can think of is to write as big as possible to fill up a lot of space and use a lot of reiterative, extraneous words and phrases that actually sum up to saying absolutely nothing--but by golly, it LOOKS impressive.
That's what her verbal diarrhea is about, in a nutshell. She thinks she can keep people from noticing she doesn't know jack about anything by burying them in a pile of words.
