DC will be overrun. Hotels are all booked and people rent out rooms at a premium. The Metro system will be taxed running until 2:00 am. I will make sure I stay home.

Yes it's a ways to travel into DC, but you can get a room at a reasonable rate still.

I'm gathering all the information and lists of some of the Balls and parties. Moveon is going to have an activist thing there, I imagine lots of groups will so I will have to add those too.

If I could go, I would deal with the million people to be there. Some articles have said 4 million, but that might be a bit exaggerated.

4. Per the local news here, the Park Service is preparing for 4 million at the inaugeration
They are setting up jumbotrons on the mall. I live in the area, but I plan on staying home to watch on TV.
