10. College spaghetti!
Remember that? It's spaghetti flavored with packets of ketchup palmed at fast food joints.

It's vile but it stops your stomach growling and allows you to keep going one more day.

16. Inexpensive sandwich...
My father told me he ate ketchup sandwiches (as well as bean sandwiches) during the depression. Doesn't surprise me at all. I imagine stocks in booze will go up to. Need to drown in something. LOL

20. Ever seen "The Jerk" ?
Steve Martin comedy from a ways back. There's a scene where he is eating pizza in a cup. My personal pizza in a cup recipe is- cup o' ramen, ketchup, italian seasoning, garlic salt, parm cheese and red pepper. Used to be able to get the parm and red pepper for free from Pizza Hut. Its gross but if youre broke its a nice change of pace. I also would throw in some meat pieces of what ever I was lucky enough to have on hand.

Oh and welcome to DU ;) :9 :hi:

18. Our local food company had an uptick last quarter, too
JM Smucker, of Orrville OH, posted an increased profit. It's because people are staying home and cooking more (eating out less) due to the economy.
