Then whenever their funds implode due to incompetent management, they can come begging and tug at our heartstrings, talk about how the old widow of some deceases ex-hedge fund manager is so grateful to have her $400 a month, and choke another fifty billion out of us to support that industry too.

Sorry, I'm just so pissed at some of the manipulative, juvenile, selfish arguments being proffered around here in defense of throwing tons more of good money after bad to these dismally run automotive companies. Save the widows and orphans--as if this is the only industry in pain right now. Let's just print dollars to oblivion and give them out to every ailing business. Not just the "Big 3" but the tens of thousands of retailers who are shuttering their doors and windows.
