When, Jimmy Carter was in office corporate media's ABC's Night line came in to being for the sole purpose of counting each and every day the hostages were held by Iran as if that kind of publicity would ever aid in their release.

When Bill Clinton was in office, the corporate media waged and promoted a non-stop witch hunt over his sex life and any other smudge they could dig up, while for the most part ignoring the successes of that administration.

The same corporate media would go on to slander and libel Al Gore for the better part of two years prior to the selection of 2000 instead of actually of giving the man credit for his championing opening up the Internet to the people and thereby empowering the American People's freedom of speech rights more than anything since the First Amendment went in to effect. To my knowledge they still haven't apologized for that episode.

The same corporate media would enable a corrupt, incompetent, Bush to power by camouflaging his obvious shortcomings, errors, mistakes and lies and go on to cheer lead us to a war with Iraq based on lies.

There are plenty of antagonists out there, you just have to know where to look.

Fox News remains a conservative propaganda factory and still runs the occasional piece on Wall Street's collapsing because Obama was elected hysteria. However, it's interesting how much they've toned down their partisan vomit since they got bitched slapped by their huge election defeat.

Personally, I see Democrats more excited than ever now that the incompetent, destructive Bush administration has turned irrelevant and soon will be exiting stage right to be replaced by Barack Obama. There's hope the long, conservative nightmare is over.
