Barack Obama and the Cult of Personality...
Just look at those two pieces of pie! They seem to be begging, "Take me! Take Me!" By the way, the cherry pie was the most persuasive.

As if he doesn't have enough pressure on him with the collapse of our stock market and our entire economy threatened, now he has to walk on water as well. There's a lot of pressure when someone has to be perfect.

Listen, if you've seen one piece of pie, you've seen them all. :-)

4. He says that he loves Pie!
And this appears to be a confirmation, as he bought two cherry pies to take back to the transition offices.

2. I love
that the President-elect gets sent out to pick up lunch.

Keepin' it real, eh?

That's wonderful. Look at the arm around his buddy.

I love this.

3. That's too funny that he went, isn't it
Hope whoever else he got lunch for was not TOO hungry...surely they knew that it was not going to be a "quick run in, get lunch, and leave" kind of thing. More like "oooh, you sent PE Obama to pick up lunch...so we get to eat in about in 3 hours, then???"

5. If I were in his situation, I'd be taking every chance to get out and about ...
... knowing that for at least four years starting January 20th, he won't be able to get out for jsut causal stuff at all. He'll be in the goldfish bowl and on the job 24x7. This guy just isn't a George Bush ... and we won't see anything near the vacationing and fund-raising 'time-off' that Smirk has done - cutting his time on the job to less than half his tenure. (It's been clear that the West Wing staff haven't wanted him around.)

I sure hope the kids like Camp David and that they can get some friends to visit up there for playtime.
