Reading an earlier thread on the possible ties of GHW Bush to the CIA and it's possible implication in the assassination I was fascinated to find rumors that Hale Boggs, who sat on the original Warren Commission, was about to publicly air his skepticism of it's conclusions in 1972. Before he could do so his light airplane was lost in Alaska. On board the aircraft also was Alaskan congressman Nick Begich...and by now you can guess who's father he was.

Whether it means anything in terms of people coming to power with both the motive and the opportunity to finally bring to light the backroom fascism of portions of our government I don't know.

But when wheels begin moving within wheels I suspect the true "invisible hand"...Karma. And I take hope.

May this be the dawn of a new day in our country. After the last eight years, and the awful events that happened in the 60s and 70s, we deserve all the hope we're feeling now.

And may the invisible hand bring us together as we move toward the future we deserve.

Hope that made some sense. I'm always sad on this day each year, hard to believe it's been 45.
