its pretty obvious from this type of statement he believes gay is a crime punishable by death.

"The singer told The New Yorkerthat he disagreed with a liberal "Democrat" view of life, pointing to gay marriage as something condoned by the party that he disagreed with because it clashed with the teachings of the Bible.

"God came to Earth and saw people sticking it wherever and doing it with whatever, and he just cleared it all out," he said. "He was, like, 'Enough.' "

"Enough"
means you forfeit your life.
and he supports that.
it appears that he believes all democrats should die..whatever thier orientation.

5. the Artist Formerly Known As Prince
Bit of a wanker actually.

Read the piece in the New Yorker and he comes across as crazy as Victoria Jackson.

so now he's Prince again.

If you ever run into him, be sure to call him Tafkap.

This guy is one of the singularly most sexually twisted folks on the planet and he has the nerve to make this statement? If anyone else remembers, this guy actually sang about a incestuous relationship with his sister. Talk about hypocrisy. He also wears more make up than I won and I am a female drag queen... If it glitters and is gorgeous, I love it. Pitiful

After becoming a roadie I did one show for him awhile back and will never do another one. You know those stories you hear about not being allowed to look a performer in the eye? I thought they were all bullshit till I did a Prince show.

8. All these years
I thought Prince was gay. The hair. The outfits. The heels. I thought it was his own personal business. Just like everyone's sexual preferences are their own personal business.

I don't understand how we can be in the year 2008 and still have people thinking that way. The arrogance and selfishness just seems to get worse every year. Hopefully Obama's many years as president will turn a lot of these people around.

9. If the day ever comes that I give a care about what some dimwit
so-called 'celebrity' or 'entertainer', either on the right or left, has to say on any subject, I hope that someone slaps me silly.

More mindless drivel from people that are usually not very well educated or read, but can memorize lines, carry a tune, or play a musical instrument competently.

Sometimes not even very well at that.

Their opinions of things, both great and small, mean less than nothing to me than the barking of dogs.

13. It may have been a sham interview, too
I don't give a lot of weight to the opinions of entertainers, and in this case, the interview could have been made up.

If he said it, a boycott is in order. But I'm not going to pencil anything into my schedule either way.

17. Prince is and always has been a total asshole
I used to work in a drycleaning shop in the late 1970s. Prince, before he was famous on the national scene, frequented the shop. He categorically refused to talk to me or the other staff. We were beneath him and not worthy of his words. If he brought his then girlfriend in, she did all the talking. She was very nice and apologized for his complete shitheaded egotripping when she came in to pick up his crap.

The worst kept secret in Minneapolis was that Dez Dickerson (who I played in a band with back in 1975) wrote most of "Prince's" material during the era he was the spudhead's lead guitarist. Dez was well compensated, and the material was released under spudhead's authorship credit.

Prince is a fraud and a complete prick.

26. Okay
First - I never knew that about Dez. That's very interesting. ;-) I knew that he was involved with Morris Day and the Time - but not that.

I haven't bought a Prince CD in probably 9 years . . . even though others have come out. And if there is any truth in this article - I won't be purchasing another.

Second - I love that we are talking about the artist FKA and now who is FKA the artist and just Prince - and you are know FKA MNChimpH8R.

30. The belief that God disapproves of behavior is not exactly the same
as the belief that God wants to kill everyone who behaves badly, and that isn't the same as God wants to kill everyone who supports a political party that, among other things, supports the rights of those bad-behaving people. Frankly, I think your logic is even worse than Prince's.

>>Soup With Prince
by Claire Hoffman
November 24, 2008
>>Recently, Prince hosted an executive who works for Philip Anschutz, the Christian businessman whose company owns the Staples Center. “We started talking red and blue,” Prince said. “People with money—money like that—are not affected by the stock market, and they’re not freaking out over anything. They’re just watching. So here’s how it is: you’ve got the Republicans, and basically they want to live according to this.” He pointed to a Bible. “But there’s the problem of interpretation, and you’ve got some churches, some people, basically doing things and saying it comes from here, but it doesn’t. And then on the opposite end of the spectrum you’ve got blue, you’ve got the Democrats, and they’re, like, ‘You can do whatever you want.’ Gay marriage, whatever. But neither of them is right.”

When asked about his perspective on social issues—gay marriage, abortion—Prince tapped his Bible and said, “God came to earth and saw people sticking it wherever and doing it with whatever, and he just cleared it all out. He was, like, ‘Enough.’ ” <<
