I've got a good use for what's left of the $700B.

Put it in the Social Security fund and tear up some of the IOUs.

7. Depends where they spend it
But mostly I was just adding the figure so people would know how much is owed the supposed useless paper that is the Social Security Trust Fund. That's the taxes that low-income supposedly don't pay because it went right into the general revenues.

9. No, sometimes you have to spend
If you're unemployed and the only way you can get a job is to use your savings to drive to an interview in another state, you better do it.
