4. Record it. Usually most of it sucks and you can FF through it. |

23. So see if you can get it off Bittorrent. |
|
Although, given the dullness of the show recently, you might not be able to get it.

6. Another 7 minutes until it's on. |

Usually the opening skit is a good barometer. If experience is a teacher, I'm going with "no".

to Congress on c-span. Usually it's all downhill from the opening though.

Barney Frank interviews heads of GM, Chrysler & Ford about their requests for loan.
Some good lines.
Don't know what else will be worthwhile. Sometimes it's all junk after the beginning until the "news" comes on....
None of the girls are in the beginning slot, just one I'm not familiar with.

You won't miss much. I lasted 20 minutes, and I'm asking myself why I even held out that long.
Terrible material, even by current SNL standards. They'd better hope Sarah Palin keeps doing stupid things.

Affirmative. The opening scene was good. The turkey sketch was entertaining. The James Bond bit was funny. Go for it!

22. I guess I'm in the minority again this weekend, but I kinda liked it. |
|
It wasn't great or anything, but I did laugh a good bit. Tim McGraw was much better than I thought, in fact, he was quite good. Darrell Hammond did a terrific Bill Clinton (again), new featured player, Michaela Watkins did a very good impression of Arianna Huffington, and Will Forte did a scathing impression on the very old, white-haired, crazy "Democrat" Zell Miller from Georgia. The skit, during Weekend Update, was about Miller ranting in his nutso manner about Jim Martin, the Democrat who's in a runoff for the US Senate here in Georgia against asshole incumbent mofo Repuke Saxby Chambliss. I appreciated the timeliness of the Jim Martin comments, even if it was just Forte-as-Miller ranting about Martin's name. (You had to see the skit to appreciate it. Zell Miller is really a wacko).
