1. One line that should have got a laugh that didn't
was about the GPS and "by the time they got to St. Louis."

From Detroit to Washington, via St. Louis????

funny

2. I just saw the skit.
The actor playing Barney Frank sounded more like Elmer Fudd. I loved his ending comment about Detroit making more gay cars.

4. They totally missed Barney Frank --Geesh these people are horrible at their job
the caricature of Barney is that he looks like he slept in his suit. They missed the mark there.

Also he doesn't lean forward he has a self assuredness about him that allows him to sit back and volley points.

They totally missed on that.

The guy playing him got his speech right once but other than that he completely missed it.

7. SNL definitely needs to do some hiring.
There's no way they can keep the shitty Obama & Biden impressions they have now.

I suppose Darrel Hammond might be able to develop a Biden character, but if Hillary's gonna be in the administration, they might want to keep "Bill" around.

Armisen's Obama SUCKS ASS though. There's no way they can go 4 years with such a weak impersonation, based entirely on right wing propaganda.

10. Jay Leno had a pretty good Obama impersonator on his show, when he did his Celebrity Jeopardy skit.

The lady he had do Hillary on that skit was pretty good as well. That's an option if Amy Poehler can't come back to impersonate Hillary.

13. At least Armisen's Barney Frank is better than his Obama, IMO,
Edited on Sun Nov-23-08 12:44 AM by Janice325
even if his Barney does sound kinda like Elmer Fudd as bumblebee1 mentioned.

14. Actually ity was the other way around
It made the politicians look like blubbering idiots, which is par for the course.

They took shots at American made cars more than anything else.
