This is the latest from Rasmussen. -WB

72% Say Economy in Recession, 71% Say It's Getting Worse

After falling four points on Saturday to reach another all-time low, the Rasmussen Consumer Index regained some lost ground on Sunday and picked up two points to 62.0. The Consumer Index, which measures the economic confidence of consumers on a daily basis, is little changed from a week ago, down nine points from a month ago, and down thirty-seven points from the beginning of the year. Despite today's gain, confidence remains at the third lowest daily level ever recorded.
