What does it cost per car for the CEO's
We know what it costs for health care for the workers but I want to know what it costs for the CEO's, with all their perks, benefits, salary and bonuses.

The cost of providing health care adds from $1,100 to $1,500 to the cost of each of the 4.65 million vehicles GM sold last year

Instead of trying to deny health insurance to their workers why don't the big boys fight to make health care affordable and single payer. It would be cheaper for them in the long run.

1. You've got the meme all worng
CEOs and executived in general are considered assets.

Assembly line workers and employees in general are considered liabilities.

No cost is too great in support of an asset, and no expense is acceptable in support of a liability.

See how easy it is?

3. My uncle costs Ford $48 a month(net)

They pay for the medicare part A,B,D premiums. These are fully refunded to Ford by the government at tax time. Not a deduction, but a 100% credit.

They pay Kaiser $87.63 a month as a supplemental to medicare. Ford deducts $21 a month from Uncle's pension toward this amount. Ford also claims the entire $87.63 as a line item expense on their taxes to reduce their tax liability.

When it is all said and done, this particular retiree costs Ford just under $48 a month for medical care.

Ford Motor company is bitching because they do not think $48 a month for a man who worked 34 years to help put millions in their pockets is worth one thin dime now that he's disabled.

4. This is what pisses me off the most.
"Ford Motor company is bitching because they do not think $48 a month for a man who worked 34 years to help put millions in their pockets is worth one thin dime now that he's disabled."

Americans made these companies what they are today, by working for them & consuming their products. This is how we are repaid.

I can't recommend the movie "The Corporation" enough!
