Was Tina Fey on SNL last night doing a Palin-turkey send-up? |
|
Haven't seen anything on it here at DU this morning, so I'm guessing it didn't happen...

3. Tina Fey hinted that she retiring Palin with the election |
|
I think she said she was looking forward to being able to retire the character. I believe she really detests her. She said she has enough to keep her more than busy with her other parts.

12. Why parody what is going to be remembered as one of the biggest media gaffes of all time? |
|
Turkey killings aside, the original was so hilarious in a David-Cronenberg-meets-Michael-O'Donoghue way that nothing could top it.

5. It's time to let her go. |
|
It's heartbreaking, I know. But she's gone. We need to accept that.

And you should NEVER try to satire satire.
Besides, with no Senate seat to "plow" toward with Ted Steven's election loss, Palin is officially a dead pundit walking now.

9. However they could do their own "Thank you, Sarah Palin" |
|
After all. She is largely responsible for giving SNL its best ratings in years.

10. No. SNL is back to being insignificant and dull. |

I watched the rap routine and wondered just how many times can they do the same joke.
