1. He's tap dances pretty well for an old man.
When asked about attacking Obama at the GOP National Convention:
"I wasn't speaking to the Republcan delegates, I was addressing independents everywhere. And I actually praised Obama."

:puke:

3. I still cannot understand why they threw him a bone.
He actively tried to cave the Dems, and his actions would hurt all Dems in all the races, not just campaigning against a guy who only gives a good speech. And I wish he would stop calling himself a Dem. He lost that election.

6. Because Barack Obama has the emotional capacity to suppress any feelings of vengeance
I wish I were more like Barack Obama because I can't suppress those feelings.

12. He really does want what's best for this country, even if that includes
this turncoat.

And you're right; I wish I had that capability. Maybe that's why he got elected. Big picture, big picture, big picture....

13. Keep your friends close. And your enemies closer.
Obama OWNS Lieberman now. He's a much more skilled player than Old Joe is, even after Joe's billion years on the federal teat.

5. Could he BE any more of a weenie?
I'm going to look forward now...

I'm not going to make any political commentary on the past...

that's all past...

You'd like to think so, wouldn't you, weenie?

I'm thinking NOT!

7. Brokaw asks him about Palin:
Brokaw runs clip showing Lieberman praising both Palin and the Palin/McCain ticket as the "real ticket for change":

Brokaw: "Do you really believe that Sarah Palin was more qualified than you for VP, considering that you were on the short list and McCain chose Governor Palin?"

Lieberman: "So sweet of you to run that clip and ask that question this morning."

Yeah, Joe. And thanks for all your attempts to submarine the Democratic Party for the past two years. Asshole.

14. Lieberman has no integrity at all. And I'm sick of hearing
about how we're supposed to "look forward" whenever one of these morons is confronted with their previous hate-speech. LIEberman flogged that concept for about 10 minutes. "Look forward". "It's a new day". Don't dwell on the past". "Our eyes are in front of our heads because..." Blah blah blah... :puke: Doesn't he know how foolish he looks?

And BTW, if we're supposed to look forward, how come it's ok for THEM to make a federal case about someone a Dem stood next to at a traffic light for 10 seconds 45 years ago? Hmmmm...?

15. We Can Look Forward to Getting Screwed by LIEberman for 4 More Years
He will vote to sustain every Republican flibuster.

As chairman of the Homeland Security Committee, he will block any investigation of the Republicans,
while using his position to snipe at Democrats.

17. OMG! Are there FOUR years left in his six year term? Crap!!...
Well, whatever! The good people of CT will have a chance to redeem themselves the next time around.

As that old guy told Indy, in "The Last Crusade", I hope they "choose wisely" this time around. :evilfrown:
