1. Bush/Cheney failure

Why did anyone think that the invasion of Iraq was somehow legally or morally right, let alone a wise decision? Even more mindboggling is the fact that 60 million morons voted to re-elect Bush. Why the sudden unpopularity these last months/years? He's the same childishly irresposible idiot that he was four years ago.

2. I've wondered the same thing

I think that the fear of another terror attack was one factor. Bush, wrongly, was perceived as 'tough on terror' and good at fighting the terrorists. The other factor was the economy which wasn't in nose dive like it is now. Kerry wasn't the most likable opponent either, and that unfortunately counts for something as well.
