Poll question: Do you shower before work or after work?

or

note: if you shower after work to get the dirt out from under your fingernails after a long day of physical work you, as you already know, are on your own.

Before you jump down my throat, I know that many of you who are forced to "suit up" are also going to lose your jobs because some CEO needed more money for another solid gold umbrella stand.

2. Note that the auto company CEOs shower before work
and have more in common with bank CEOs and insurance CEOs - and the Representatives and Senators questioning them - than anyone who actually works for a living.

3. Before, both when I worked Construction and years later when working behind a desk
It is how I really wake up in the morning and while I'm in the shower I generally put together what I hope will be my day. By that I mean that I prepare myself for the 'unexpecteds' that might come my way and at the same time try to map out what I intend to do and make sure it fits in with whatever my overall goals are. Like I said, it doesn't matter if I'm putting together a building to store tools in or in later years writing a complicated contract - same routine every day.

15. Agreed. Morning caffeine alone won't wake me up completely.
It there's too much debris build during the day, I'll clean up again after work.

5. What, no option for "during?" :)
Seriously - I end up showering during work most of the time. I work from home and usually end up taking a shower sometime around lunchtime. :)

6. Now I shower instead of going to work
I can't afford a hot tub, so the shower is my hydrotherapy substitute.

I do some of my best thinking in there.

Wish I could read the paper in the shower.

Oh well, that's what the crapper's for.

7. I am treating this poll seriously because I realize it is based up years of peer reviewed study
and not simply based upon broad-brush generalities. This definitely should be in Obama's next Saturday address.

8. I was just curious as to what percentage of DUers wore suits to work or wore a shirt with their name
on it.

So, you are going to pick my post to decry hyperbole and snark on DU? If you are the Snark Police, maybe you should get busy because it's running rampant in GD and GDP.

Thanks for sharing.

11. Does how I comb my hair have anything to do with my relation to the economy?
I guess there is nothing too small to make connections. Oh, and don't worry, I won't be commenting on any more of your posts because I won't be able to see them. Now we're both happy.

9. Is There Any Relevance To This Poll Or Are You Just Keeping Tabs On DU'ers Showering Habits?
What a useless poll.

10. In a world of nothing but CEOs and factory workers, there's no place for many of us.

12. Before work, and often after.
I shower before work every day, and after work if I've worked up a sweat doing chores, or if I've been cleaning the barn after work.

I like to get into bed clean. I like to shower and shampoo every day before heading to work.

13. No option for both?
I shower before work, but if I've worked up a sweat or come into contact with gross stuff (which can happen - I'm a nurse), I'll shower after as well.

14. I've done both
Does that make me one of the 'good' people or one of the 'bad'?

I thought divisive politics was going to be a thing of the past. Alas, it seems I was mistaken.
