1. I think some of the red states did a good job of knocking themselves out of the running for Gvt fund
Alaska won't have old Ted Stevens to carry the bacon home anymore.

Somehow, that porker got re-elected. :eyes: At least now, we have a D-AK. It's an improvement, at least. :)

2. oh that will win them over next time.
There ARE Democrats in those red states. And we ARE busting our asses. But hey, you go right ahead and give the pukes a good reason to start really raising a stink over this colossally stupid idea. :eyes:

You might just give them enough anger to keep EVERYONE from getting anything. Or have you not been paying attention for the last two years? :eyes:

6. Yep I know
But isn't it funny that all the "small government, less spending" rhetoric is never actually practiced by Republicans to any read degree? Its just campaign BS.

5. 3.5 million people in Texas voted for Obama. There is no
such thing as a completely red state.

11. I have a better idea: Cut off all federal funding to red states
After all, federal assistance is "socialism" to them and they don't want socialism.

13. Umm, there's no such thing as a red state
We're all some shade of purple, thank you very much.

What is this sudden unbridled urge to harm our fellow man over their political leanings? Geez, are we suddenly becoming '70's era Chile or what? Have we abandoned our core moral believes to help our fellow man, no matter what?

Sorry, but this sentiment is distinctly immoral and frankly un American. People like you are no better than the fools over at FR who advocated the same thing, only in reverse.
