2. I used to bank with them becuase I had a free acct via work
but as soon as I switched jobs and that ended, I joined my credit union.

I always hated having to call their customer service line because it always went to a call center in India.

7. Financing Citi's repositioning with taxpayer dollars
"We're investing in systems and processes, and next year we will have another 1,000 (workers)," Citigroup's country business manager Mark Jones was quoted as saying.
--snip--

"There's a whole lot of activity moving in the Philippines as we grow our businesses. Citi is moving more equity in the Philippines. If you look at the business, we're repositioning globally," Jones said.

22. 1000 jobs is an incredibly small portion of their workforce.
Really, how much of an impact on their bottom line do you think this is going to have?

20. Yes, The Do Think We're Stupid
Or at least the corporate media is...and they're right. These robber barons saw the other bail outs with little to no oversight...Citi even got a previous piece of the pie...and figgered why not go for more? Whose gonna stop 'em? All they had to do was call Komandant Klink Paulsen and the check was on the way, the rest of us can go hang. If the others didn't have to restructure or even fire the asshat's responsible, Citi figures why should they? We have such a short term memory, whose gonna pay attention? So you're outraged at them today...big deal...tomorrow there'll be another target for ire and Citi's stockholders will take the tax money, the perks and no one will be the wiser.
