Is there any way to find out how much Paulsson, Bush and Cheney made on Citibank stock today? |
|
This whole Citibank is to big to fail thing has sent me over the deep edge today. They pretty much signed the check on Sunday, so they were privy to insider information. Citibank shares went through the roof on Monday, the information they new on Sunday would be insider trading. Can any stock market gurus tell me how to find the big buyers and sellers of Citibank today?

You can find out large institutional holders, but beyond that it is difficult. There are a number of legal obstacles to preventing government officials from owning large stakes in specific companies, but these are the Bushes after all. Who knows?
In all honesty, I'm glad the government hasn't simply let every major institution that was on the brink fail. Citi, Fannie and Freddie, Wachovia, AIG, Merrill, Bear Stearns, WaMu, etc. The total sum of that damage would have been something else altogether.

2. I would be willing to bet a lot of money that one of these three made money today. |
