I just realized that Maslow's hierarchy of needs is baloney.....
All the proof you need is right here on DU....some of the kindest, most thoughtful, intelligent, thought-provoking people are struggling with the "lowest needs" (physiological and safety needs). YET, they have reached, are concerned about self-actualization.

(DU'ers please take that as the compliment that is intended.)

1. Are you basing this conclusion on the Lisa Kudrow thread in GDP?
Certainly that same thread is making me re-think some of Piaget's developmental theories.

I'm "lol'ing" because I have NO CLUE who Lisa Kudrow is.

(on edit to add: Nor do I care who this person 'is', but if you ~ or anyone else ~ has any interesting, thought-provoking thoughts/ideas to share, *I* and many other DU'ers would love to hear/consider your thoughts/ideas. Please share. :) )
