Do Iraqis see the invasion of Iraq the way Americans see Sept 11 (i.e. as a wonderful opportunity)? |

Note that the Americans who considered the events of September 11 to be a wonderful opportunity were Bush and Cheney. Coincidentally, they viewed those events specifically as a wonderful opportunity to proceed with the invasion of Iraq.

I'd suspect Sistani is pretty happy with how this turned out. But who is really jumping up and down in happiness about this wonderful opportunity is Iran.

2. Al Qaeda. THEY'RE the ones who are bloody ecstatic over bush's invasion |
|
of Iraq.
Al Qaeda had no street cred, and no way to take down Saddam Hussein, their sworn enemy.
George W. bUsh handed Al Qaeda their Golden Dreams on a platter.
All it cost Al Qaeda were a handful of extremists willing to die and a few dollars for flight training.
It's cost America everything.
Heck of a job, bushie.
