The REAL Culture of Life - Protecting women's health
The so-called liberal media is not talking about it.

The so-called "moral majority" Christian Right sure ain't talking about it.

But, it's time to know talk about it, not a single abortion related measure passed in this year's election, and even more failed to make it to the ballot.

California Proposition 4 - Badly worded bill which required parental notification for an abortion.
FAILED.

Colorado Definition of Person Initiative - Bill which defined a zygote to be a person.
FAILED.

South Dakota Abortion Ban Initiative - Bill which could have put doctors who performed abortions in prison for up to 10 years.
FAILED

The right wing needs to wake up and realize that the sanctity of life involves a concern for the health of women. Wait, we don't want them to win, so go ahead, and keep trying to mess with the REAL culture of life.

1. The right wing needs to wake up and realize they're in the
minority on this issue, period.

I've never understood why they can't just apply their beliefs to their personal behavior. Don't like abortion? Believe it's murder? DON'T HAVE ONE - but, damnit, don't tell everyone else what to believe. I don't enforce my hatred of pink on anyone else's wardrobe - not even my baby girl's!!

2. Why? Because they don't give a shit about killing innocent Muslims, in fact,
these "God Warriors" are EAGER to kill whatever "In Jesus's name." So people are seeing "Pro-Life" for the what they are; a bunch of

HYPOCRITES

3. And Connecticut too! We had a ballot question whether to hold a Constitutional Convention.
It was designed to override our excellent state supreme court decision to allow gay marriage but would also have opened up the opportunity for antichoice advocates to get parental consent and also for anti-union measures to be enacted. Bad strategy on their parts. There were 3 major groups of people opposing it and actively informing members and supporters about the dangers of its passage. Our coalition SOUNDLY defeated the measure...

5. It was dumb for them to piss off so many people! The more oxen that could be potentially gored,
the more enemies you have working against you. Stupid to do it by way of a Constitutional Convention.
