OMG! Fox is reporting that Idiot Son is going to Camp David
for Thanksgiving while India is exploding at the seams. So he just leaves the "B" team in charge? Oh sure, He "condemns" the terrorist attacks, burp, pass the gravy.

1. Maybe that's not a bad thing.
It's usually better if The Chimpinator does NOT get involved when there's a crisis.

4. And there's nobody who can drag him by the collar all the way back to the WH
I don't want to hear that he can work at Camp D. To the world it could look like he just doesn't give a crap. You know, the truth.

5. At first blush, I'd say he's shirking his duty...
On second thought, good... he'll be out of the way where he can't hurt anyone, embarrass anyone, etc.

14. They reportedly took anyone with either
a US or British passport hostage. I'll bet there are quite a few.

BBCA just played a phone interview with a Greek gentleman locked into one of the dining salons, afraid to come out because they're trapped between the attackers and the Indian police force. Apparently explosions on the top floor are ongoing and everyone's nerves are totally frayed. He said a good thousand people were trapped there.

I hope Dim Son stays the hell out of it. He's done enough damage.

13. its not as if he is incommunicado at Camp David
I'd be curious for an explanation as to what he can do from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue that he can't do from Camp David?

I suspect that over the next four years Obama will be in Camp David while something is happening that warrants his attention.

17. The important topis is: where is Cheney???
It doesn't matter if Bush goes to Camp David or Texas or the moon.

It is important where Cheney is.
If he is off hiding in Magic Mountain or whatever the hell it is named, then I would be very concerned.

Given the logic of his administration, he'd have to order an invasion of Finland in response.

31. And Obama's released a statement condemning the attacks:
"Obama Transition chief national security spokesperson Brooke Anderson condemned the terrorist attacks in Mumbai, India, on behalf of the president-elect, saying:

President-Elect Obama strongly condemns today's terrorist attacks in Mumbai, and his thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families, and the people of India. These coordinated attacks on innocent civilians demonstrate the grave and urgent threat of terrorism. The United States must continue to strengthen our partnerships with India and nations around the world to root out and destroy terrorist networks. We stand with the people of India, whose democracy will prove far more resilient than the hateful ideology that led to these attacks."
