How about an analysis of the Obama Movement?
So I read this thread on Obama's victory over white supremacy: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=389x4541022

And saw that the article TRIES to get to a real truth of the left's internal problems (from the liberal to the revolutionary spectrum). That being stupid, non-mass movement organizing methods combined with many small, non-organizing groups who exist in an ideological bubble, mistaking rigid dogmatism as taking an actual, principled stand. The left has screwed itself over enough without help from the right.

The author, however, is really just bitching without analysis and generalizing about how depressing leftists are. He probably quit organizing altogether over petty bullshit.

I haven't read a single article (except the one I'm posting) that seriously looks at what the hell the Obama movement is all about, and how we can organize with the new left it has spawned.

It's long, but I think that anyone who calls themselves an Obama supporter and wants revolutionary democratic change down the line should seriously consider investigating the matter beyond the superficial pundit take on the Movement.

2. I like what RFK had to say...
"What is objectionable, what is dangerous about extremists, is not that they are extreme, but that they are intolerant. The evil is not what they say about their cause, but what they say about their opponents."-- Robert F. Kennedy

but it isn't just 'extremists'. If people could see each other as people, rather than labels, there might just be some common ground that could form a populace movement that could actually be effective. I can certainly see our country breaking apart with the various factions stuck with their all or nothing attitudes. Who knows..maybe it will be for the best.
