She's wearing a $300 Burberry scarf

For a little perspective on the company "Burberry's, in some ways they are a competitor of Harrod's and the equivalent of a U.S. store like Bloomingdales without the housewares or Saks Fifth Avenue.

In other words, not cheap.

I find it amusing that there is a certain fad that has existed with a segment of city dwelling British youth; They're known as "Chavs" or "Charva", and one thing they are famous for is the style of dress,

example;


Expensive, name brand Track suits, name brand sneakers and ball caps.
Since they seem to like the idea of wearing something everyone knows is expensive, they have latched onto the Burberry's trademarked plaid;


Their hats are popular;
