Poll question: Predict freeper reaction to the following ...
Edited on Wed Nov-26-08 09:52 PM by ColbertWatcher
... Disney has been working on a movie called The Frog Princess for a few years now. The earliest mention of this project on Wikip*dia's list of sources is June, 2006 including a link for a casting call in December of 2006.

Here is a picture of Princess Tiana, the lead character in the movie

It will be the first hand-drawn Disney animated film since 2004's Home on the Range and is set for a Christmas 2009 release.

Promotions for The Frog Princess may begin next summer or fall.

My question, How will the freepers react?

2. I don't get it..
What do you think they would say? I didn't vote.

I'll tell you what I'd say, though.. Disney needs to stop drawing anorexic characters in their movies if they're planning to continue marketing to children.

8. Didn't realize this was the first..
Disney movie featuring a brown person. This puts a new spin on things. They'll probably make up some sort of "black agenda" and cry that their rights are being infringed.

14. No problem. (My oldest son was 3 when Pocahontas came out, and ...
his little brother was born a year later. I've seen that movie MANY times.)

10. Technically, not the first with a "brown person."
Edited on Wed Nov-26-08 09:48 PM by ColbertWatcher
Aladdin was about an Arabic prince.

This is the first Disney movie to feature an African-American princess--in other words a "brown-skinned female" in the lead.

(EDIT TO ADD) Okay, never mind about the "brown-skinned" part (DUer Bravo reminded me about Pocahontas)

12. Aside from who was the first ...
... the freepers will definitely make something up to keep them all frothy and victim-y.

6. They won't say anything.
Freepers are clueless. They'll buy their daughters Princess Tiana dolls on one hand, and continue bashing blacks on the other without truly understanding the dicotomy.
