Until the Rubins & Paulsons are jailed and their $$ seized, the fleecing of America will continue |

The financial-industry mortgage-backed swindle, destruction of our economy, and the industry's subsequent bailout (and unbelievably ridiculous terms) has to rank as the greatest heist in American history - if not world history. And the fact that mobs of citizens are not spontaneously storming D.C. and Wall St. with pitchforks and torches in hand is testament to how apathetic we as a nation have become.
I think the Founders would be kind of embarrassed by us.

1. "how apathetic we as a nation have become. " - you got it, but it's infected us too . . |
|
. . .
That fear of "rocking the boat"
has endangered us of sinking the damn thing for lack of attention.
Chretien kept us out of world conflict, (wanted PROOF of Iraq's mwd's, imagine that . . . )
Martin stuck us in as a PNAC whore in Afghanistan to the Bushgang,
and Harper is keeping us in as a willing concubine
I hope OUR apathy never equals that of the US American electorate, but it ain't looking too good right now . . .
(sigh)

|
there will be plenty of time for pitchforks and torches. The founders would be totally disgusted with US!
