Did Barney the dog attack a turkey at the white house?

i was channel-surfing a few minutes ago and saw April Ryan on comcast's Art Fennel show.

she was talking about the turkey pardons and said there is always a backup turkey.

Then she said a presidential dog once attacked a turkey in the white house. she wouldn't say which

president's dog did it, but Art kept pressing her on it and it seemed, by her denials that it was in

fact Barney.
