2. Well, normally I wouldn't even think of celebrating another person's pain |
|
But this is Coultergeist we are talking about. This is a woman (supposedly) who;
A. Said former Vice President Al Gore was a "total fag" on Hardball With Chris Matthews. B. Said about Congresswoman Maxine, "Congresswoman Maxine Waters had parachuted into Connecticut earlier in the week to campaign against Lieberman because he once expressed reservations about affirmative action, without which she would not have a job that didn't involve wearing a paper hat. Waters also considers Joe 'soft' on the issue of the CIA inventing crack cocaine and AIDS to kill all the black people in America." C. Said about Lincoln Chaffee, "They Shot the Wrong Lincoln." D. Said about women who lost their husbands during the 9/11 attacks, "These broads are millionaires, lionized on TV and in articles about them, reveling in their status as celebrities and stalked by griefparrazies. I have never seen people enjoying their husband's deaths so much." E. Said about Justice Stevens, "We need somebody to put rat poisoning in Justice Stevens' creme brulee. That's just a joke, for you in the media." F. Said about liberals in general, "Whether they are defending the Soviet Union or bleating for Saddam Hussein, liberals are always against America. They are either traitors or idiots." G. Said about the New York Times, "My only regret with Timothy McVeigh is he did not go to the New York Times Building." H. Said about Helen Thomans, "Press passes can't be that hard to come by if the White House allows that old Arab Helen Thomas to sit within yards of the President."
I could go on, but these some of the reasons why I am a small, small, man when it comes to Coultergeist, and why I have no problem with anyone celebrating her trap getting wired shut.

"These broads are millionaires, lionized on TV and in articles about them, reveling in their status as celebrities and stalked by grief-arazzis. I've never seen people enjoying their husbands' deaths so much."
"I have to say I'm all for public flogging. One type of criminal that a public humiliation might work particularly well with are the juvenile delinquents, a lot of whom consider it a badge of honor to be sent to juvenile detention. And it might not be such a cool thing in the 'hood to be flogged publicly." MSNBC, Mar. 22, 1997
"Liberals become indignant when you question their patriotism, but simultaneously work overtime to give terrorists a cushion for the next attack and laugh at dumb Americans who love their country and hate the enemy."
"I really want to hurt him. I want him to feel pain." (Referring to the possibility of running against a Democratic Representative)
"The FBI allowed thousands of Americans to be slaughtered on the altar of political correctness. What more do liberals want?"
"I think we had enough laws about the turn-of-the-century. We don't need any more." Asked how far back would she go to repeal laws, she replied, "Well, before the New Deal ... would be a good start." Politically Incorrect, May 7, 1997
"My only regret with Timothy McVeigh is he did not go to the New York Times Building." as quoted in the New York Observer, Aug. 20, 2002

25. Let me repeat this, I KNOW her history |
|
and she'd celebrate MY pain and yours
That does not mean I will get down to HER level
Clear enough?

Well not until it heals because if she comes out of it with a horrible speech impediment, well then its time to get the sparklers and party hats maybe a pony ... maybe.
Edit Ok yes on second thought there will be a pony and balloons.

19. I had surgery on Tuesday. I'm in a lot of pain with my reconstructed ACL ligament. I can't laugh. |
|
It's funny in the movies, but in real life a real person breaking their jaw and getting it wired shut isn't funny--even when the person in pain is herself an ongoing, metaphorical pain in the neck. I was disappointed when I saw Olbermann mugging about somebody else's pain. It's wrongheaded to find this funny, despite the obvious irony.
