and i know my daughter Bekah, murdered 7-19-01, played it for me. my head IS much lighter since 11-04-08; on the other hand, bush and his cronies are busily robbing us taxpayers blind and shitcanning any consumer friendly and/or ecologically responsible laws, and the number on my iraq war american deaths counter rose by 3 yesterday, to 4,207. a number that doesn't reflect the up to a million dead iraqis, any of the carnage in afghanistan, or those that have been destroyed mentally, physically maimed, turned out of their home, etc.

they do. bekah's made miracles happen for me. she and her best friend "BFF" Lizzie were the turtle and the butterfly. i started collecting turtles when bekah died - got a turtle tattoo - we put a turtle instead of a dash between the dates on bekah's headstone. here's a couple pictures of how bekah let us know she's with us still.

this is the tortoise that appeared in my son's back yard out of nowhere on bekah's 23rd birthday, almost two years after she died.


this is the turtle in the sky that appeared on the fourth anniversary of her death.

6. From another mom

Lost my daughter 11/25/01, age of 20. Yes, they let you know. For me it was hummingbirds. The last present she had ever given me had to do with hummingbirds.
Now I see them all the time at the most odd times...for instance, one hovering at the sliding glass door looking in at me for the longest time on a cold rainy day in March in MAINE.
Yes, they let you know.
However, there isn't a day that goes by...let's just say you never get past it, you just learn to live with it.

7. highway 61,

when that turtle appeared in my son's yard on bekah's birthday it gave him faith he had never had. when i went to see it i laid down on the grass and it walked straight to me as if it had just been waiting for me to show (i believe she was). i will never forget it.
i never get enough of the stories, never. it is amazing and i don't know where i'd be today otherwise. i noticed your daughter's anniversary just passed. happy thanksgiving to you:hug:
