Seems like the more people we drop bombs and missiles on the more people want to kill us. I thought it was supposed to be the other way around?

I don't think our media wants to broach this subject.

2. The statement from the only group to step forward
and claim responsibility made no mention of Pakistan or of American involvement.

It did mention the local situation in Mumbai in regard to the "crackdown" on Muslim people by the city in response to recent car bombs.

OTOH, there have been reports that the terrorists were asking their captives who had either British or American passports. But this may be more an attempt to make sure they are dominating the news cycles around the world (as those previous car bombings didn't rate the 24 x 7 news coverage here... barely even made a blurb in the news, even though those bombings killed more people).

4. Nope.
India and the pakis have a cold war running. They have for decades. This may or may not be part of that, or just islamic terrorists killing westerners.

5. Paki is a derogatory term.
Best to try use a different one.

6. I had heard one theory that stoking a India-Pakistan confrontation in Kashmir,
where they are always at odds, will draw away Pakistani troops from the tribal areas where they have been more active of late. Under that theory the tribal areas would become a safer sanctuary for those fighting in Afghanistan.

8. I did ask where's Dick facetiously on another thread
but the truth is that the Indian army does it's own share of killing Pakistanis in Kashmir.
Personally I'm sick of all killing - it's just perpetuates the cycle.

15. More publicity if you hold western hostages
Our MSM generally ignores the deaths of people of colour, unless there is a western anglo to it.

13. If the Murderous Little Gits Are Pakistanis, It's ALSO Likely That
If the murderous little gits who carried out the attacks in Mumbai (Bombay) are in fact Pakistanis, I think it's also more than likely that they are alumni of the "hate factory" Wahabbi madrassas (religious schools) organized and funded by America's dear "friends" the Saudis.

Team Shrub has spent nearly eight years covering up the connections between Saudis, al Qaeda, and other terrorist organizations. Oilman Dubya Bush and Oilman Cheney have also played major roles in the US's failure to move away from petroleum and petroleum products to other energy resources.
