Here's to the people of our hopeful nation

As always, full of grace and gratitude, even as we struggle to work, provide, save . . .

Here's to all of our workers: the caregivers and healers; the rescuers and those fighting accidents and disasters; the builders, the road laborers and the landscapers; the drivers and truckers; the foodservice and grocery workers; the farmers, the fishers, the meatpackers, the harvesters and the planters; the teachers and the teachers aides and specialists; the transportation workers and operators; the police, the military, and all who offer their own lives and livelihoods to keep us from harm; those who work in public service, from our politicians to everyone who works in support of our government; the activists and the protesters; the aid workers and the community workers and volunteers; the mothers, fathers, and children who support and elevate each other to fill out the heart of our beautiful country.

I know how hard it is sometimes . . . Here's to whatever spirit sustains us and gives us hope. :toast:
