1. Very glad it's over; but it won't help those already dead.
Does this mean all hostages have been released?

2. Eight hostages were set free at the Jewish center
as well as all at the Taj... one site is still under the control of the attackers

And that is the pain of terrorism to be honest... those who die and the terror after the fact

It will take time for life to come back to normal

That said, CNN now has conflicting news as to whether this is truly over or not

5. I don't think they still really know whether or not the hotel's clear.
I keep hearing that it's a huge hotel with a lot of possible hiding places.

4. Watching the live stream
http://ibnlive.in.com/videos/video_streaming.php

One terrorist still in the Taj, may be wounded. 125 dead, 327 wounded.

Fingers being pointed at the fire department for a slow response to the fire. Uh, people, the fire department doesn't go in until the area is more or less secured. Dead fireman don't do anyone any good.

7. Depends where, while that is MOSTLY true
I have gone into scenes that have been rather hot ... (as in active shooting still going on... hell I have been shot at, and thankfully was never hit)

But you are right, that is MOSTLY true... why SWAT in the US is also getting some really and I mean this, REALLY basic firefighting training.

But this scene has to be secured before Fire\EMS goes in is a rule in the US... (and most of the western world)... but not everywhere... why I can see the blame. Mostly been there, done that... DUCK!

8. Ah now you are asking the same question every Intel officer
who is NOT going home is tackling right now

It will vary from political movement to political movement... but usually it is I am willing to die for my cause... and even kill..

At one point people in the US were willing to do this... to each other and others as well. Remember that thing called the War of Independence? How about the civi war? Just because we haven't had a reason to do this recently does not mean we have not been there either
