I had a wonderful Thanksgiving evening...

My wife's family is a highly intellectual, progressive, successful group who were in full glory last night as we discussed the Demoocratic successes of election day and what future Congressional elections might bring in our state of PA. It's rather fun to sit at a table for 25 where each person brings his or her own leftish viewpoint ranging from pragmatic Democratic Party executive to tinfoil-hat wearer. Everyone gave their versions of how they reacted at 11 PM Eastern Time on 11/4 and we traded Youtube video links of great moments. My personal favorite was the quad-screen display of 4 networks calling it at the same time.

At Passover Seder in the same house, I remarked to the gathered masses that the holiday was additionally significant in two respects: it was the first Passover without "Moses" in a long time (Charlton Heston had just passed away) and hopefully the last one for a long time where we will have to be enduring a Republican President, particularly Junior. This was stated to rousing cheers.

Great crowd.

This post, BTW, is in keeping with my assertion that I would only post GOOD NEWS and positive aspects of my life since I was excoriated for being nto only too cynical and obnoxious because I took RWers to task for their nonsense, but a LIAR as well (by one particular poster). My two best features are my modesty and my uncanny ability to carry a grudge. Forever.
