HSUS: Help end biomedical research on chimps

Right now, nearly 1,200 chimps—some of whom were captured in the wild—still suffer in labs across the country, routinely subjected to painful and invasive experiments or warehoused in cages. Some have been held for more than 50 years.

We can make one exception: There is a chimp in the White House who will be leaving January 20, 2009, at 12 noon sharp. The biomedical researchers can use him before he escapes to Texas :evilgrin:
