Please DU This Poll
Up here, in Canada, the Conservative Government is trying to "Save 30 million dollars" by killing federal funding for political parties. The funding was originally created to cut big corporations and lobby groups out of the loop. For every vote a party gets they get $1.95 annually in federal funding.

A poll on the subject on the CBC site is being heavily freeped
