I'm thankful that .......

..... George Bush is almost gone. I'll be more thankful when his ass gets off that big plane with the United States of America painted on the side for the last time .... wherever he's going ... Dallas ..... Waco ...... Asuncion ...... wherever.

I'm thankful that I am still capable of emotion. My emotion about that man is negative. It is poison. I am thankful that will all soon be over.

While I am thankful he is leaving, I am not beyond anger. And what he has caused will linger for years if not decades. That anger will be with me.

I was able to get over Reagan. Really, right after Clinton took office. It won't be like that with George Bush.

Along with my thankfulness, I have some wishes.

For George Bush.

I hope he deeply and truly, soulfully, understands how much he is despised. I hope it causes him great and lingering mental distress. I hope it causes him pain.

I hope he is never able to smile again.

I hope he is never able to draw joy from anything. I hope he is more miserable and more deeply troubled than the aggregate of the bad feelings of the millions who have seen their lives diminished as a result of his having been born.

I hope that even being kind to him, or thinking of him as a friend, becomes socially unacceptable.

I hope that the final years of Howard Hughes look fun comfortable and rich when compared to those that will be lived by George Bush.
