The fuel for walking or biking is food.

Cars run on oil, most of which comes from foreign lands.

It's hard to hit what you're aiming at with a single shot while being run off the road.

I drive an up-armored HMMWV.
Got a good deal on it.

I use it to drive to the mailbox at the end of the driveway.

i just enjoy burning gas. I disconnected my smog equipment so I can pollute the air at the same time. A twofer!

I go way out into the countryside until I find one lone native flower struggling against the odds. Then I rip it up and replace it with something really invasive. In a year, I drive way the hell back out there to see how far the invader has spread.

Thanks for asking.

51. When I lived in Southern California, I was always going somewhere on a daily basis.
But once we moved North, I started driving less and less. It's now at the point that we consolidate trips as much as possible. My husband grocery shops on the way home from work and when we go out for a day trip we fit in a lot of stuff on that trip-usually two, three or more stops. I usually take the car out once or twice a week to take care of errands I want to do and so I can get out of the house. O8)
