Does anyone have any images of Wal*Mart Black Friday ads?
They seem to have disappeared.

I've searched and searched and can't find anything.

Please post any that you have, especially ones that contain the words "door busters."

Thank you.

1. .
http://bfads.net/WalMart

Scroll through to whichever item you're curious in and click the little camera to pull up its ad scan. I don't have one of the full thing, although you can probably find it on that site somewhere.

3. Does anyone still have their newspaper and able to scan Wal-Mart's ad?
Edited on Fri Nov-28-08 04:57 PM by ColbertWatcher
But, only if it contains the words "door busters."

Click here (http://latimes.p2ionline.com/shoppingchannel/popup/index.aspx?WebStoryID=15748553&type=adv&area=ROP&adid=2103470&pop=1) for an example.

Thank you.

6. As I recall, yesterday's ad didn't use the word "doorbusters."
This is the link to my localized ad; same cover as from my newspaper.

Maybe it's different in other areas of the country.

8. I found one from my paper yesterday
But it doesn't mention anything about "door busters". Just several pages of stuff at what I am assuming are really low prices.

Everything does say 'While Supplies Last" though...

I could try and take a picture with my phone and post that, or if I can find the digital camera...

Let me see what I can do.

11. Many retailers have been using that term, are you trying to put
the death of the walmart employee as the fault of the advertisements walmart ran?

I went to that site, but missed the whole "tab" thing with the ad scan.

Even though it didn't say "door busters" it does show special hours and a little note reminding people that Wal-Mart sells "Gifts worth waking for":

29. You get what you pay for.
That "$10 vacuum" will cost you more in the long run when you pay for the healthcare for all those Wal-Mart workers not covered by a company healthplan and when you have to replace it when it breaks down.

30. Oh I know it , and I'm sure they are just as cheap at other stores.
I worked in retail this time last year, it's cheap everywhere and it will be until Christmas. I just wanted to make a crack about dust bustering the living room. I wouldn't really buy another damn thing from Walmart. My mom used to work there when I was younger. The pay was so bad we couldn't afford to shop anywhere else. She actually ended up getting fired for stealing the would-be-discarded food from the deli to feed the family.

Besides like you say, what Walmart is selling is 100% pure shit. About two years ago for Christmas I had to return a DVD box set I got four different times before I finally ended up with one that worked. One set was missing a disc all together. Plus, I've had to replace about four keyboards in one year, all from walmart.

32. If you really want to help the economy buy a rug.
First use it to cover the mess--very American.

Then, when you do finally get around to cleaning up, you can wear-down the vacuum twice as fast by vacuuming both every time you vacuum and wind up buying another vacuum sooner!

Other than that, don't call me before 9:00am.
