I have not seen a single elected Representative/Senator/Cabinet Member on TV. Perhaps I've missed him/her/them, but I've seen the Jitterbug ad about 2000 times during this crisis, and not one member of the Foreign Relations Committee or anyone else who is supposedly an expert in these affairs. in fact, don't we have a Homeland Security Chairman?

But seeing as the local authorities in Mumbai aren't really sure what is going on yet, Representatives/Senators/Cabinet Members in this country are avoiding the mindless speculation that the talking heads on the TV are indulging in.

I understand that there's a putz at Camp David, which was named for my neighbor down the street here, and he's drinking lattes and has his feet up on the furniture.

6. If the terrorism was aimed to scare Americans, it was timed pretty poorly.

We are not to be bothered by anything on Thanksgiving Day. It's all turkey, all family, all friends, all day, and so be it. Good for us. The cruel, mean crooks who perpetrate monstrous acts such as that in Mumbai deserve to be ignored.
