Our new next door neighbors just moved here from ALASKA.. |
|
..
I cannot wait to get to know them :)
First off, I am SOOOOO thankful that someone bought that poor vandalized house , fixed it up and found some nice people to rent it..
and two empty houses across the street are occupied again..
That's my Thanksgiving "happy-for"..
Of course whoever bought these houses probably paid half of what they would have sold for a few years ago, but I am just happy they are filled with families now..and there are even LITTLE kids.. this neighborhood hasn't had little kids for a long time :)

the same political loyalty as you but at least you'll get to try and "deprogram" them!
As an aside to your comment about how much the new owners paid for the house next door you can actually find that out through your counties web site. When my cousin's dad in Santa Monica died and she was wondering about the value of his house we went to the county's site and found tax and sales information on all the neighbors homes. My county lets you look up tax and valuation info by address, owner's name or parcel number.
