Mumbai personal side of the story: My Rabbi's close friend of childhood murdered
Edited on Sat Nov-29-08 05:06 AM by Suji to Seoul
along with is wife. Rabbi Holtzberg was one of my rabbi's close friends from childhood. He just met him again 10 days ago at a Chabad conference in New York.

More Jewish blood spilled for what? Haven't my people been through enough?

Whether you support Israel or not, I'm tired of Jews being targets. White Supremists, Neo-Nazis, Christian conservatives, the Catholic Church, the Inquistion, the Crusades, the Pogroms, the Pale Settlement, the Holocaust, Munich, Enola Gay, Entebbe. . .the list goes on.

My rabbi is destroyed right now. I hope these terrorists got what they wanted. Oh, Rabbi Holtzberg supported and worked for Palestinian statehood too.

3. Rabbi Holtzberg
was the opposite of the murderers. He lived his life to help elevate others, through kindness and knowledge. I am sorry for his tragic death, and feel for his family and friends.

5. Sad beyond any ability to express it. Beautiful young people brought down ...
... by irrational hatred.

May they be long remembered by those who loved them -- and will love them always through their child, who was saved.

7. My thoughts, prayers, condolences and deepest sympathies to your Rabbi
And all those affected by these senseless and horrific killings

The Rabbi and his wife sound like wonderful people. May they rest in peace. And my heart aches for their child that they left behind as well

I really hope the savage, barbarian cowards who financed and did this are made to pay beyond what they could ever imagine
