Google Earth Greenland
Edited on Sat Nov-29-08 02:50 PM by warrior1
There's something going on. There's a 25 mile long oblong shape coming out of the ice sheet.

10. It's just a segment
caught by the satellite on a day when there were no clouds. Google's full of artifacts like that. Keep zooming in and you'll see features. I'm sure Google eventually will have all of Greenland without clouds. They do the same in the USA, which is why some images look stiched together.

26. I doubt if there were 2000 mile walls around Atlantis
I'd call it artifact.

My brother told me about this morning. He says there a buzz on the net about it. It could have very well been there a long time or Greenland;s government is hiding something there or it's a big damn landing strip.

24. That sounds like the most logical explanation.
Maybe if we look at places on the map where we know things should be like Camp David, or Nellis AFB in Nevada (area 51 rumored to be there), we might find similar patterns.

25. It's a 'swath'..
an image blemish peculiar (in Google Earth/Maps at least) to low resolution imagery from an aerial imaging company called TerraMetrics.
You can locate these and many other types of imagery errors and oddities here:

27. If you zoom in on it you will see a strait line at the top of it
And looking closer you wee it is well defined and perfectly strait and about 1200 feet across and well defined by an edge on the north side that is as strait and symmetrical.
What this does fit in the weird theory's are the canels of Atlantis as described by Homer as to the size and shape.
But who knows.
